Be sure to visit La Mina Falls, another stunning waterfall where you can cool off after your hike. Don’t miss Yokahu Tower, located near a parking lot, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the forest without a long hike.

Afternoon: After hiking, grab a bite at Rainforest Cafe and continue on to Fajardo. Check into Fajardo Inn, where you can enjoy a relaxing swim or a round of mini-golf with your family.

Paddling through the water as it sparkles beneath you is surreal, and something your teens will be raving about long after the trip. After the kayak tour, stop by one of the restaurants along the Malecón for some delicious Puerto Rican food. It’s the perfect way to cap off an adventurous day!

Insider Tip: Aim for a moonless night for the most dazzling bioluminescent experience! The new moon made our trip truly unforgettable.
